Kirk Herbstreit Reveals Pick For Best Stadium Entrance In All Of College Football

One of the great things about college football is the entrances the teams make while running onto the field. The Virginia Tech Hokies, Clemson Tigers, Penn State Nittany Lions, Michigan Wolverines, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Florida State Seminoles are some of the teams with unique entrance traditions.

The SEC is home to many great traditions with stadium entrances. Nearly every SEC team has its unique way of running out of the tunnel and onto the field.

One of the long-standing traditions in SEC football has been with the Tennessee Volunteers and running through the "T" at Neyland Stadium. Tennessee runs through a "Power T" made up of "The Pride of the Southland Band" before every home game on Rocky Top.

Kirk Herbstreit recently appeared on ESPN and claimed that the Tennessee tradition was the best in college football.

"I had a chance to see this a couple of years ago and be reminded," Herbstreit said. "Now that Tennessee's back to playing great football, boy, there's not a better scene than Neyland Stadium at night, especially at night. When they go through that Power T, it opens up with the band, and the team comes out. What an awesome atmosphere and a great way to get you fired up for the start of a football game."

After winning 11 games in 2022, Tennessee took a step back last season. The team finished the year at 9-4 after beating the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Citrus Bowl.

Nico Iamaleava is expected to start as the Volunteers' quarterback. The team also returns players like wide receiver Squirrel White, wide receiver Bru McCoy, running back Dylan Sampson, and edge rusher James Pearce Jr.

Iamaleava was the top overall recruit, quarterback, and prospect from his home state of California in the 2023 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings .

Tennessee opens the season against the Chattanooga Mocs on Aug. 31.
