Heading into Thursday's matchup against No. 16 Corner Canyon (UT), high school football powerhouse No. 3 IMG Academy (FL) had not lost a game in nearly two years.

They left Utah having lost 35-34 after a failed two-point conversion and a wild comeback by the Chargers, who were down 28-14 at the half. Leading the way for the top team in Utah was 2025 five-star receiver, Jerome Myles.

The former Ole Miss commit, who ranks as the No. 30 player in the country, finished the game with five catches for 125 yards, and three of those catches going for a touchdown.

While his final touchdown catch was the eventual game-winner, social media cannot get over his one-handed grab that tied the game up. At the end of the video, you can also see Utes quarterback Isaac Wilson going crazy after the catch. He was the one slinging the rock for Corner Canyon just last year.

Myles wasn't the only Utah target that shined, as 2026 four-star quarterback Helamen Casuga also had quite the opening game of the year. He picked apart the Ascenders, completing 22-of-31 passes for 330 yards and four touchdowns.

Regarding where Utah stands in both of their recruitments, Myles currently holds a new crystal ball prediction in favor of Utah from August 18. He was originally a silent commit to Utah before pledging to Ole Miss, and now appears to be on track to end up in Salt Lake City.

For Casuga, he recently named Utah as one of his top schools, but On3's Steve Wiltfong has Texas A&M as the favorite.

If the Utes can land both, it'd be quite the statement for a program that is looking to take over the Big 12.
