Jalen Brunson: Kobe Should Be In Everyone's Top 5

If you ask people who they believe are the top five NBA players ever, you could get a lot of different players, depending on who you ask. But New York Knicks star point guard Jalen Brunson believes that there should be a constant.

NBA TV recently had a broadcast called Air Time , where fans got to watch some of the best highlights of Kobe Bryant's career. Brunson appeared on the broadcast, and he said that he thinks everyone should have the Mamba in their top five.

"When people talk about top five basketball players of all time… If Kobe's not mentioned, there's no point in having that conversation," Brunson said.

LeBron James and Michael Jordan are the two players that almost, if not everyone, will say when you ask them to name their top five, but Brunson believes Kobe should be one of those guys as well.

Some other players that people will say are guys like Shaquille O'Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, Larry Bird, and many, many more. It just all depends on the age of the person you ask and who they grew up watching.

Jordan and LeBron remain constants at the top, but many, including Brunson, believe that the Mamba deserves that same kind of recognition.
