Caitlin Clark was trending on social media after a video surfaced on August 23 of the WNBA rookie wearing an iced-out diamond chain.

Before the 2024 WNBA season started, Clark can be seen with Indiana Fever guard Erica Wheeler, who was wearing a chain of her own, which had her No. 17 in diamonds around her neck.

Clark said on the video, "Let's go, let's go, there's only one thing to do. Give me the chain."

The GLD Shop later responded with a video making the chain for Clark, and the camera then panned to the rookie wearing her diamond-encrusted No. 22.

Clark responded by saying, "Shoutout E-dub [Erica Wheeler], shoutout G-L-D. Got this custom piece. It's pretty sick."

According to The GLD Shop, Clark's chain is comprised of 1,000 hand-set VVS diamonds "totaling over 12 karats."

WNBA fans seemed to love Clark's addition to her accessories.

"Now that’s sick," one fan said.

"Swear she’s Queen status she gets what she ask for," another fan said.

    "Motion!!" commented another fan.

Clark may be shining off the court with her new diamonds, but she's also been a star on the floor.

The rookie is currently averaging 17.8 points, 8.3 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game, leading all WNBA rookies in average points and assists.

Clark's ability to be an elite scorer and playmaker has helped the Fever be a true threat in playoff contention. They are the No. 7 team in the WNBA rankings with a 13-15 record as of August 22.

Still, the diamonds might be the biggest star of the show.

"That’s pretty tough ngl," said another fan.

    "ROTY," commented another fan.

    "Goat talk," said one fan.
