Mavs' Luka Doncic, Steve Nash & Jokic Team Up for Dragic Farewell Game

It's finally happening. Luka Doncic and Nikola are playing on the same team, which isn't an All-Star Game.

Although technically rivals, the two superstars, who lead their respective Western Conference contenders, share a mutual bond built from international basketball and an overall understanding of what it means to dominate in the NBA as an outsider.

As the second team captain for Slovenia legend Goran Dragic's last game, Doncic selected the three-time MVP with his first pick. Who could possibly go after such a no-brainer first pick for such a monumental event as the Night of the Dragon? That'd be 50-year-old NBA legend Steve Nash, of course.

Dragic picked the former Mavericks All-Star point guard as the guard to help "push the tempo," according to NBA insider Marc Stein. The game isn't an All-Star contest Slovenia edition; the two teams will seriously compete as it is Dragic's last game.

While there are no league officials or CBA, Dragic should have vetoed Doncic and Jokic's pairing.

However, Dragic is known for his fiery nature, especially internationally. Don't expect a blowout on either side.

Chris Bosh will participate in the charity event, as Dragic and the Miami Heat All-Star played together in his first competitive basketball game since retiring from the Miami Heat in 2017 due to blood clots.
