Former Jets Linebacker Praises Aaron Rodgers: 'He's Been Unstoppable'

Aaron Rodgers has become a hotly contested quarterback to debate among NFL circles.

Some analysts believe that the 40-year-old quarterback's best playing days are behind him and the torn Achilles injury he suffered in his opening game as a member of the New York Jets was the first sign of his decline.

    Not everyone believes that, though.

In fact, former Jets linebacker Bart Scott not only believes that Rodgers will be fine in 2024, but that the four-time NFL MVP is still among the best quarterbacks in the game today.

"Name me five quarterbacks that's better than Aaron Rodgers right now," Scott said on ESPN's Get Up show. "I've been to (Jets) camp three times... [Aaron Rodgers] was electric. He's been unstoppable."

Strong words from a linebacker who was always worth a good quote during his playing days.

Scott, though, is absolutely correct. Those at Florham Park during camp this season have seen Rodgers at his very best over the last month. The more he plays, the more the rust has come off of the 40-year-old.

And while his Achilles injury is certainly something to monitor, the talent level surrounding the Jets franchise is such that the team is ready to compete for a Super Bowl with Rodgers leading the way.

And many people still believe he can.
