The Ohio State Buckeyes are among two Big Ten teams to win the College Football Playoff. The Buckeyes won the playoff in 2014, and the Michigan Wolverines became the second team in the conference to do so last season.

Ohio State fans would love nothing more than to beat Michigan after losing to the Wolverines the past three seasons. Last season, Ohio State lost to Michigan 30-24 in Ann Arbor.

The Buckeyes have a loaded roster. Former Kansas State Wildcats quarterback Will Howard, former Ole Miss Rebels running back Quinshon Judkins, and former Alabama Crimson Tide safety Caleb Downs were the top transfer additions.

While on paper, Ohio State looks like a good team, Nick Saban had a warning for the Buckeyes on "College GameDay." Saban agreed that the Buckeyes have a solid team but warned them about the danger of high expectations.

"I do agree that Ohio State has a really good roster, and I think Ryan Day probably likes his roster," Saban said."I think the key that they'll drill is how Will Howard is gonna play at quarterback for them and can they manage the expectations. The worst thing for a team is to have these kinds of expectations and this kind of anxiety on your players that they've gotta go accomplish something, rather than compete and go out there and play."

Ohio State went to the playoff in 2016, 2019, 2020, and 2022 but has not won a national title since 2014.

The Buckeyes begin their quest for a national title on Aug. 31. against the Akron Zips. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
