Steelers' T.J. Watt on the Trading Block? Analyst Gets Ripped for 'Radical' Take

The Pittsburgh Steelers are under a microscope this season. Not just by fans, but by the rest of the league, by virtue of their offseason moves to replace the entire quarterback room.

After a dismal season where the passing game failed to produce any energy whatsoever, Mason Rudolph and Kenny Pickett were booted out of town and replaced by Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.

Everyone will be paying attention to see if the offense improves with either of them under center and with new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith in the mix.

But at least one analyst thinks it'll take more to improve the Steelers, and it's - as he calls it - a "radical" move.

"If you want to turn things around in Pittsburgh, and there is no end in sight the way this team is built, you have no quarterback for the future, neither quarterback is signed beyond this year, there's a radical idea. Sometimes you need to get radical. I think you gotta put TJ Watt on the trading block," Jason McIntyre said on The Colin Cowherd Show.

McIntyre uses the word "radical," and that's exactly what this is. And the fans weren't amused by his cavalier comments about their star pass rusher.

One fan buried McIntyre for his lack of knowledge of the team. "Dudes talking about the Steelers and has no idea what the GM's name is or when he started with the team. The National media exposes themselves day in and day out," said @XavierRoshon on X.

"I was wrong. Very wrong. THIS … is the WORST take I have EVER heard in my entire life," posted another fan on X .

Clearly the fans don't agree with McIntyre, and we would guess most analysts are in the same club.

Sometimes it is best if national "analysts" keep their "takes" generic.
