ESPN Kicks Florida State Fans Out of 'College GameDay' for Hilarious Kirk Herbstreit Sign

Florida State fans did not give ESPN "College GameDay" host Kirk Herbstreit a warm welcome in Dublin as he and the crew previewed the Week 0 matchup vs. Georgia Tech.

When Herbstreit first spoke on "GameDay" Saturday, Seminole fans drowned out whatever he was saying with a chorus of boos. They didn't forget his harsh words towards FSU over their College Football Playoff snub.

However, there was even more drama between Herbstreit and Florida State fans before "GameDay" even went on the air. One Seminole fan brought a sign making fun of Herbstreit to the set but claimed in a post on X that he was asked to leave because it was too offensive.

That's certainly a pretty strong shot at Kirk Herbstreit, but really, ESPN kicked them out over that? If you're skeptical, several other folks at the live "GameDay" set confirmed their story and noted the man did get the boot because of the sign.

Well, Florida State fans aren't bringing a knife to this gunfight. They are still very clearly upset over last year's coverage of their 13-0 ball club that missed the playoff, and few media members have been the target of Seminole ire quite like Kirk Herbstreit.
