ESPN College GameDay Crew Predicts a Very Ducky College Football Playoff

Broadcasting live from Dublin, Ireland before the College Football opener, Florida State versus Georgia Tech, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Nick Saban weighed in with predictions for the first 12-team College Football Playoff.

Desmond Howard has Oregon winning it all this year.

Nick Saban has Georgia beating Oregon in the championship.

Kirk Herbstreit also has Oregon beating Georgia in the national championship.

Saban's pick might be more reverse rat poison, goading Kalen DeBoer and The Tide into another title run.

Pat McAfee said, "It's going to be awesome. That home field advantage in the first round so we can celebrate what college football is all about? Awesome."

For Herbstreit, it's all about hope. He said, "It's not just the 12-- 13,14, 15,16, up in the 20s-- going into November. In the past, that hope was gone."

Hope is one thing, but then you have to play three great games against the Blue Bloods and traditional powers.
