Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards continues to ramp up his preparations for the upcoming season.

Despite just being a few weeks removed from his gold medal-winning run with Team USA in the Paris Olympics, Edwards is back in the lab, conditioning his body for another long grind with the Timberwolves.

On Instagram, he posted a video of him doing boxing drills. He was visibly gassed after a round of mitts while receiving instructions from his trainer.

The clip garnered the attention of a familiar name in boxing: Adrien Broner. The former world champion commented on Edward's post and invited the All-Star wingman to train with him.

"Come train with me one day and I will train with you one day," Broner wrote. "We can exchange."

As of writing, Edwards has yet to respond to the invite.

Broner, nicknamed "The Problem," has faced numerous controversies outside the ring, including being jailed for almost two years stemming from a civil lawsuit. Still, the 35-year-old, who's trying to rebuild his life, has ample experience to help Edwards.

The 35-year-old prizefighter owns an impressive 35-5-1 record, including 24 knockouts. He dropped his last fight against Blair Cobbs via unanimous decision in June 2024.

The 23-year-old Edwards, meanwhile, will once again spearhead the Timberwolves after a breakout campaign last season, where he finished seventh in the MVP race after averaging career-highs of 25.9 points and 5.1 assists on top of 5.4 rebounds.

"Ant-Man" led Minnesota to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2004 after eliminating the Denver Nuggets.
