It's needless to say that former Alabama coach Nick Saban provided us with some of the most memorable moments when it came to interviewing with the media.

Now, the tables have completely flipped. Saban now has a career as an analyst for ESPN, and will join the desk panel of the most prestigious show for college football, College GameDay.

After being introduced on Week 0 Saturday and receiving a warm welcome from the Dublin, Ireland crowd ahead of the Florida State and Georgia Tech matchup, it seemed the former coach settled in well.

In a segment not long after being welcomed to the set, Saban and the GameDay crew discussed Saban's transition from coaching to media and provided a hysterical and Saban-like response. A post of the clip was provided above by Awful Announcing on X.

"You know, I spent my entire coaching career accosting people who speculate, make predictions, and ask hypothetical questions. Now I'm in this world," Saban said. "This is my gig, and it's hard."

This statement would cause the entire desk panel to burst into laughter as they all considered the irony.

Saban's past experiences with the media can conclude to fans that he never really liked talking to the media. Now, he's with the media in a crazy role-swapping career. And he has started off as everyone would expect. It's crazy to see a legendary coach on a desk panel, and not in headgear on the sidelines.

However, Saban is settling in his new role well, and is receiving a lot of praise for the job he has done thus far.
