Marlins Look To Take Game Two vs Cubs

The Miami Marlins will play Game Two of their three-game home series with the Chicago Cubs on Saturday late afternoon. Miami lost the first game last night 6-3.

Chicago is still in the hunt for a potential wild-card berth. They are currently five and a half games behind for the third spot in a tight National League race.

As for pitching matchups, southpaw pitcher Shota Imanaga (9-3, 3.11 ERA) gets the start for the Cubs. It's his 24th start of the season. His last outing came against the Toronto Blue Jays on Aug. 18, when he went five innings allowing a run on four hits and striking out six batters. He was the losing pitcher in that game.

Imanaga's counterpart will be Marlins right-hander Valente Bellozo (2-1, 2.45 ERA). It's his seventh start of the season. He last pitched on Aug. 18 against the New York Mets, going five and a third innings allowing two runs on seven hits, and striking out four batters. He didn't factor into the decision in that game.
