The 2024 Summer Olympics have been over for a couple weeks now, but the drama surrounding Jordan Chiles' bronze medal is still raging on.

As the controversy drags on, the Federation of International Gymnastics president Morinari Watanabe addressed the incident, with some folks believing it was a very poor attempt at an apology to Chiles for everything that has happened.

Unsurprisingly, folks have been bashing this statement from Watanabe, and Chiles seemingly acknowledged it with a quick post on her Instagram story. The star Team USA gymnast reposted a photo that gave fans the impression that she doesn't believe she deserves all the drama that has surrounded her bronze medal victory.

The whole incident has clearly had a massive impact on Chiles, as her dream of medaling at the Olympics has been turned into a nightmare given all the controversy that currently surrounds her.

Despite that, she has remained steadfast in her desire to hang onto the medal, and it doesn't seem like that is going to change anytime soon.

Unfortunately, there's no end in sight when it comes to Chiles and her bronze medal drama, and it will be a situation that still bears watching in the coming weeks.
