Simone Biles Drops Big Update on What’s Next Now That Olympics Are Over

Despite the fact that she’s been seen in a walking boot several times since the 2024 Paris Olympics have ended, 11-time medalist Simone Biles is already back in the gym.

During a recent interview with Fox 26 Houston, Biles discussed what’s next for her now that the 2024 Paris Games are in the rearview and she’s had some much-needed downtime with husband Jonathan Owens in the weeks since she’s been back stateside.

At the top of her priority list? Preparing for her upcoming Gold Over America Tour.

“Right now, I’m just working on getting back in the gym, starting those basics, getting my body moving,” Biles said . “After that, we’ll head out and start training and just go from there.”

The Gold Over America Tour, also referred to as the GOAT tour — an ode to Biles’ reputation as the greatest gymnast of all time — will make stops in 30 U.S. cities and feature many members of the USA Gymnastics team that won gold in the team final and captured nine total medals in Paris.

The event’s website described the exhibition as a “pop concert-style spectacle” that will showcase “an exhilarating display of jaw-dropping athleticism and high-energy choreography with an inspirational message of hope, strength, resilience, and determination.”

In addition to Biles, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, Hezly Rivera, Jade Carey, Ellie Black, and several others.

“Think of ‘Party in the USA,’ think of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ or like ‘Dancing on Ice’ except a gymnastics version with Olympians from the U.S. and we have a couple guests from overseas coming to join us,” Biles added. “[But expect] high-level gymnastics, good music — it’s just kind of a party and a celebration of what we’ve done in Paris.”
