Maple Leafs Trolled By Way Of Justin Bieber's Newborn Baby

The St. Louis Blues PR folks had themselves a day on Saturday, August 24 , as they found a witty way to poke fun at the Toronto Maple Leafs using the birth announcement of Justin Bieber's son as their main weapon.

Bieber, a world-renowned musician and bonafide Maple Leafs fan, revealed that he and his wife, Hailey Bieber, named their newborn son Jack Blues Bieber in a post on Instagram showing one of Jack Blues' tiny feet.

The middle name "Blues" immediately caught the attention of the hockey world, with many linking it to the St. Louis Blues although it probably has nothing to do with the NHL franchise. Not that the St. Louis-based team cared about it.

The people handling the Blues' account on X didn’t miss the chance to make a playful jab at the Maple Leafs on social media, posting a tongue-in-cheek comment on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Better than Jack Leafs Bieber, ngl,” alongside a screenshot of Bieber’s original announcement.

A few hours past midnight ET, the post had already racked up 10K likes and more than 600 reposts on X, as well as 75 replies from fans across the world.

"No way," an X user posted in reply to the Blues' post, followed by three crying emojis. "As a Leafs fan, I tip my hat to you," another user posted along with a few laughing emojis.

"Nah that's crazy," one user wrote in reply . "Well done Blues marketing team," said another one .
