The Chicago Cubs took care of business on Saturday.

The team won their third game in a row after defeating the Miami Marlins 14-2 in the second game of the series at loanDepot Park on Saturday. Chicago picked up 17 hits in the contest, including four home runs.

Two of those homers came from Seiya Suzuki early in the game on Saturday to really open up the score. The first one came as a solo shot in the top of the first inning to give the Cubs an early lead that they would never give back.

The home run went 412 feet to center field with an exit velocity of 103.8 MPH. He sent Marlins pitcher Valente Bellozo deep a second time in his very next at bat for his 18th home run of the season.

His final homer was recorded at 446 feet to left center field with an exit velocity of 110.3 MPH. It was only the third time in his MLB career that Suzuki recorded multiple home runs in a game and his first since May 17th of last season.

Suzuki's big day didn't end there, however. In the top of the seventh inning, he picked up his sixth triple of the season to drive in another run for the Cubs. According to Stathead, it was only the 14th time since 1910 that a Cubs player recorded two home runs and a triple in the same game.

He finished the day going 3 for 5 with two home runs, a triple, and a walk. He picked up four RBIs on the evening.

The Cubs will look for the sweep against the Miami Marlins on Sunday as they look to inch closer to a spot in the National League wildcard race. The first pitch is scheduled for 1:40 PM EST.
