The Philadelphia Phillies (75-54) look to be back after putting it all together for the last 15 innings. If they can do it once again on Sunday, they will complete the series victory over the Kansas City Royals (72-57).

The Phillies will turn to Kolby Allard (1-0, 3.46 ERA) on Sunday. In his last Major League start, coming on August 8th, he allowed one earned run on six hits and no walks while striking out three in five innings. Sunday will mark only his third Major League start of the season, and the Phillies are hoping to get another solid five innings from the spot starter.

Here is how the Phillies will line up on Sunday:

    1.) DH Kyle Schwarber
    2.) SS Trea Turner
    3.) 1B Bryce Harper
    4.) 3B Alec Bohm
    5.) RF Nick Castellanos
    6.) 2B Bryson Stott
    7.) LF Brandon Marsh
    8.) CF Johan Rojas
    9.) C Garrett Stubbs

    SP Kolby Allard

The Royals will counter with Seth Lugo (14-7, 3.02 ERA). In his last start, he allowed two earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out eight in seven innings.

Lugo started the year strong, with ERAs below 2.00 in each of March, April, and May, but each subsequent month after that stretch has been worse than the last, and he currently holds a 5.18 ERA for this month.

Here is how the Royals will line up on Sunday:

    1.) 2B Maikel Garcia
    2.) SS Bobby Witt Jr.
    3.) DH Vinnie Pasquantino
    4.) 1B Salvador Perez
    5.) C Freddy Fermin
    6.) LF MJ Melendez
    7.) 3B Paul DeJong
    8.) RF Dairon Blanco
    9.) CF Garrett Hampson

    SP Seth Lugo

    How to Watch

The first pitch for Sunday's game is scheduled for 2:10 PM EST. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+, as well as on NBC Sports Philadelphia and Bally Sports Kansas City.

Phillies fans can listen to the game on 94 WIP or WTTM 1680.
