ESPN College GameDay analyst Pat McAfee sparked some serious attention over the weekend while he was in Dublin, Ireland for the Florida State vs. Georgia Tech week zero matchup.

On Friday, McAfee did his daily show at a local pub in Dublin and was seen enjoying himself a little too much throughout the process, but he surely was having a fantastic time.

However, he really started to enjoy himself when he took his shirt off, got in with the crowd, and then hopped behind the bar with the bartenders, which sparked some controversy on social media.

Some fans loved it. However, A great deal of them had some excessive criticism towards a guy simply enjoying his "work vacation" in Ireland.

One comment said, "Isn’t he like 42 with a wife and baby?"

Another said, "And RGIII was fired from ESPN because…?"

One more said, "It feels legit embarrassing. It is embarrassing right ?"

Then some fans started to come to McAfee's defense over the controversial video.

"Living his best life" One more supporter said.

Despite the bulk of the comments bashing McAfee, he did enjoy his time in Dublin, and he showed up on College GameDay ready to go dropping bombshell takes and have his same old personable style and personality.

There’s no better proof of the dummying down of society (in America) than to see the ratings of this drunks show. He’s the male version of the Kardashians.

He is an oaf - he doesn’t need to be on a show that is supposed to be a “family show” that promotes College Football around the country when children are watching with their parents. I’ve said it before David Pollack was MUCH better on that show than Pat McAfee will EVER be…….
