Olympic track star Noah Lyles went viral when he threw shade at the NBA calling its Finals winners "world champions," and New York Knicks wing Josh Hart took to social media to talk about it.

After Lyles won the 100 meter event at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Hart said on X that nobody could say something to him anymore because he was a gold medalist. Lyles has now responded to that, saying that he does not know who the Knicks guard is.

He appeared in a recent TikTok for GQ Sports, and when asked if he knew who Hart was, he kept his response short and sweet.

"No," the Olympic gold medalist said.

Lyles has been ruffling the feathers of a lot of athletes recently, most notably NFL superstar Tyreek Hill and Minnesota Timberwolves rising star Anthony Edwards.

His bold takes and unmatched level of confidence have made him one of the most talked-about athletes at the moment, and he is using that to make his beliefs about other athletes known.

Hart will make Lyles know who he is this season, as he will be looking to help the Knicks become one of the top teams in not just the Eastern Conference, but the entire NBA.
