Patrick Mahomes’ reaction on X to the New York Yankees’ incredible home run moment on Sunday spoke volumes.

Despite being known as the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback with no particular love for the Yankees, Mahomes was clearly impressed by the historic achievement at Yankee Stadium.

“Not a Yanks fan but this is 🔥🔥🔥,” Mahomes tweeted, capturing his awe of the Yankees' performance.

The Yankees defeated the Colorado Rockies 10-3, but it was not the final score that drew Mahomes' attention.

In the seventh inning, Juan Soto hit a home run to right center field. Moments later, Aaron Judge followed with a home run of his own, marking his second of the game. But the excitement didn’t end there.

Right after Judge’s blast, Giancarlo Stanton also homered, making it a back-to-back-to-back sequence of home runs.

This was the first time the Yankees hit three consecutive home runs in an inning since September 17, 2020, against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Mahomes, who has a strong baseball background due to his father, Pat Mahomes Sr., a former MLB pitcher, knows a thing or two about impressive baseball feats.

Although he chose football over baseball at Texas Tech, his baseball experience continues to influence his unique throwing style in the NFL.
