The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been relatively quiet in terms of making moves this summer, and some would say that is a bad thing.

But in a recent article by Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon , he says that is might not necessarily be a bad thing, as the team is looking to build on their 2023 campaign that ended with them making the playoffs.

"I think the Bucs have had the quietest summer in the NFL," Gagnon writes. "This isn't necessarily a bad thing. It might actually be a good omen. We'll start to get a feel for that when they host Washington in two weeks."

The Buccaneers were able to make it to the postseason and beat the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card this past season, and that came as a surprise to a lot of people.

The team went into the 2023 season not sure about how their new quarterback, Baker Mayfield would perform. But, he was able to have the best season of his career so far and lead the team to their third straight NFC South title.

Now, the team will be looking to build off of the success they had this past season and continue to make noise in the playoffs.
