The Chicago Sky may be sounding the alarm after their loss to the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday. They suffered their third straight loss despite solid performances from Chennedy Carter and Angel Reese.

Following the 77-75 loss for the Sky, Carter spoke with the media. She shared some insight on Chiacgo's recent struggles while giving reporters a quick review of Angel Reese's game.

She believes Reese did her job, securing 22 rebounds in the game, but she also mentioned the rookie's struggles around the rim.

It seemed Carter was giving Reese high praise, but it's also clear she's beginning to be vocal about the 6-foot-3 forward missing easy buckets around the rim.

"Playing strong, playing hard," Carter said. "Those are the things we need. Twenty rebounds, she had an incredible game, no matter if she finished at the rim. She’s doing the things that we need her to do in order for us to be successful. Regardless of the outcome… These are situations that we can learn from.”

Reese has been struggling in the efficiency category all season.

During the loss to the Aces, she shot 25% from the field, ending the game with a 4-of-16 split. She ended the match with 11 points, 22 rebounds, and one assist.

Chicago's first-year star went into the matchup against Las Vegas shooting 39.3% from the field and 20% from three-point range.

WNBA fans have also been quick to point out Reese's missed layups around the rim. She may be having success on other levels of the game, like rebounding, as Carter mentioned, but her efficiency continues to be a glaring issue.

"Not normal to miss layups either," said one fan.

"15/44 on fgs tho," mentioned one fan.

"She is great on the glass, but she could be all time if she ever hits a couple layups." commented one fan.

    "What’s her FG%?" mentioned another.

"29 are her own missed lay ups," said another fan.

"What is she on layups during that span?" questioned one fan.
