Kamilla Cardoso Locks Up A'ja Wilson In Never Before Seen Way During Sky's Loss To Aces

The Las Vegas Aces grinded out a 77-75 victory over the Chicago Sky on Sunday afternoon, with A'ja Wilson hitting a buzzer-beater layup to give her team the win.

Despite that, Wilson labored through a rough 8-of-28 shooting day at the office, as she struggled to do much against star Sky rookie Kamilla Cardoso.

In fact, Cardoso applied the clamps on Wilson in a way that she had never experienced prior to this game. The young center blocked Wilson five times in this game, which is the most a single player has ever blocked the Aces superstar in a game throughout her career.

While fans will largely overlook Wilson's horrific shooting performance thanks to her game-winner, there's no doubt this was an impressive outing from Cardoso.

And while her fellow rookie teammate Angel Reeese continues to draw attention after her third straight 20+ rebound performance, it's important to not overlook Cardoso's contributions for Chicago.

This was a tough loss for the Sky to endure, though, and Cardoso and company will look to get back on track when they take the court next against the Washington Mystics on Wednesday night.
