Von Miller has long been considered one of the most dominant defensive players in the NFL over the last decade.

Since joining the Buffalo Bills , though, the future Hall-of-Famer hasn't been the same player that won a Super Bowl MVP or was named to three first-team All-Pro nominations.

Despite not recording a sack for the first time in his career during the 2023 season, the Bills and head coach Sean McDermott are sure his struggles are at an end.

“In addition to Von’s hard work that he has put in here, I’ve seen a ratcheting up of his return to form," McDermott said. "I’m sure he would say hey, still working through some things and still trying to get back to really where he wants to be. I think that just comes over time. Been pleased to this point and excited about where it’s going.”

Miller's importance to the defense will be even more than it has been in recent years - especially with the season-ending injury to Matt Milano.

With no Milano, Tre'Davious White, or Jordan Poyer on the defense, it'll be up to Miller to keep this group up to their elite form.

After a down year, the Bills' fully expect to get that kind of player back with Milano.
