The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a solid 2023 season, making the playoffs and advancing past the first round. But one thing they could stand to improve on is their run-game.

In a recent article by Pro Football Network's Dakota Zientek , he picks one surprise breakout player for every NFL team this season. For the reigning NFC South champions, he thinks Rachaad White could improve upon his solid season and break out even further.

"While Rachaad White had a stronger second season in the NFL than his first, there’s still untapped potential," Zientek writes. "White finished last season with over 1,500 all-purpose yards and nine touchdowns, but he’s capable of more. This season, expect White to be one of the leading rushers across the league."

White had a very solid year, but his efficiency running the ball did leave a bit to be desired.

He averaged just 3.6 yards per carry, and that was one of the things that led to the Buccaneers being dead last in the league in rushing yards, both per game and total.

But now that the team's offensive line has improved, and they have a solidified RB2 in Bucky Irving to take some of the pressure off White, he could be poised to break out even further.
