Amid all the incredible achievements LeBron James has had throughout his decorated career, it's hard to deny that one of, if not the most impressive aspect of his 21-year tenure (he's entering his 22nd season in 2024-25) is his longevity.

On Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar's business partner and long-time friend Mav Carter decided to spill the beans on LeBron. According to Carter, the secret behind James' unbridled longevity lies in his shoes -- his training shoes, that is.

Carter made his revelation after Nike dropped a first look at LeBron's upcoming sneaker launch. This fall, Nike will be releasing James' first-ever training shoes, named the Nike LeBron Royalty TR 1.

Carter, a co-founder of LeBron's SpringHill Entertainment media company, shared the photos of his buddy's new kicks on Instagram along with a very intriguing caption.

    "Finally the secret to @kingjames longevity REVEALED!!! 🤫 🤫 🤫 "

LeBron caught wind of the post, and he just had to react by sharing it on his own Instagram page along with a handful of emojis: " 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤫 "

LeBron James did not deny or admit to Carter's longevity truth bomb. What is clear, though, is that the Lakers superstar enjoyed that jab thoroughly.

At the end of the day, it's a great way to promote the upcoming launch of LeBron and Nike's latest money-making collaboration.
