Currently on a two-way contract with the LA Clippers, Trentyn Flowers played for the NBL, donning the Adelaide 36ers uniform. The 6-foot-9 forward had initially committed to Louisville but decided to follow in the footsteps of LaMelo Ball and Josh Giddey, testing his talents beyond the United States borders.

Nevertheless, after playing a season in the NBL, the 19-year-old declared himself for the 2023-24 NBA draft but had no takers. However, destiny had a plan for Flowers, landing him on the Clipper during the recent off-season.

Flowers has been quite the topic of discussion off-late if his recent clips on social media are anything to go by. The teenager is on a mission to make his mark in the world’s top basketball league.

In the lab to make the most of the off-season, Flowers has been recovering from a left thumb injury. Nonetheless, the former 36ers player seems to be continuing his routine drills but one-handed. Here is a clip of the rookie throwing down one-handed jams and showcasing his ball-handling skills.

Speaking of his draft profile, reports suggest athleticism, playmaking, and ability to attack the basket being some of his key strengths. In the eighteen games he played for the 36ers, Flowers averaged 5.2 PPG on 46% shooting from the field, spending close to 12.7 MPG on the court.

Appearing on the red carpet in the event of the Intuit Dome inauguration , Flowers spoke about being hardworking and bringing energy at all times. It will be interesting to see how Coach Lue and crew divide the young rookie’s time between the G-League and the regular season.
