College football fans got a taste of the season with a slate of Week Zero games, and now we are finally heading into Week 1.

There are multiple storylines to follow this season, one of which is whether the Clemson Tigers can recover from their worst season since 2010. The Tigers ended the year with a 9-4 record and are starting this season with their lowest preseason ranking since 2014 at No. 14.

ESPN's Paul Finebaum has been highly critical of the Clemson Tigers and their head coach, Dabo Swinney. During a segment on his show, he played a game called "Knockout or Are They Getting Knocked Out" with a caller, discussing the team's chances of making it to the College Football Playoff. Finebaum expressed his belief that the Tigers will not make this year's playoff and are likely to get knocked out.

"KO for them, they are done," Finebaum said.

Finebaum did not elaborate on his opinion, but it probably aligns with his feelings about Swinney. Recently, Finebaum expressed his belief that the peak of Dabo's career is now in the past. Finebaum stated that Swinney was previously at the forefront of college football, but he no longer holds that position due to his stubbornness and arrogance.

The Tigers have an opportunity to make a strong statement when they face the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday at noon ET.
