That doesn't mean he's out of the woods just yet when it comes to his NFL stardom, though. In the case of the former second-round quarterback, not everyone thinks highly of his skills to be the quarterback of a championship-contending team.

One anonymous defensive coordinator has come out of the woodwork to explain just why.

"The word is out there, if you run zero (blitz) against Hurts, or show zero and back everyone out, he will panic," a defensive coach told The Athletic's Mike Sando . "That has to change. They lose Jason Kelce, who handled the protections, basically did everything, and you bring in a coordinator who likes to drop back. It will be interesting."

The anonymous defensive coordinator is hardly the first person to call concerns about Hurts' struggles against the blitz. Philadelphia as an offense was one of the worst teams in the league last year against extra rushers.

While Kellen Moore is hardly been a successful coordinator and play-caller against the blitz, that doesn't mean he's as bad as Brian Johnson and Nick Sirianni were last year.

Hurts has also looked to address his pocket passing power during training camp and showed his improvements overall. If he can produce at a high level early in the season, the anonymous coordinator will be only that.
