Tigers News: Mason Englert Returns From Injured List

According to a report from CBS Sports , the Detroit Tig ers have brought back pitcher Mason Englert from Triple-A Toledo. Englert had been sidelined with right elbow inflammation but has now returned to the roster after recovering and being activated from the injured list.

In his 11 appearances this season, Englert has struggled, posting a 5.95 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP over 19.2 innings. He will be joining the Tigers' bullpen, filling the spot left by left-hander Will Vest, who is currently on the paternity list.

Englert's return comes at a crucial time as the Tigers look to bolster their pitching depth for the remainder of the season.
