The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could use some cornerback help, and they could get that help in the 2025 NFL Draft.

In a recent mock draft by Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports , he has the Buccaneers selecting Colorado cornerback and wide receiver, Travis Hunter. But like many others, Wilson thinks he could be more effective in the NFL on the defensive side.

"I like Hunter more as a CB than WR but that doesn't mean he can't do both at a high level... we all saw that a season ago," Wilson writes. "The concern is that he's on the field for 100 snaps a game, which doesn't feel sustainable. As a CB, he's long, twitchy and has WR ball skills."

There have been many concerns with Hunter playing both cornerback and wide receiver, as it would lead him to be on the field twice as much, and that could lead to some issues.

On the defensive side, he finished his freshman season at Colorado with three interceptions and a solid 30 total tackles. As for offense, he had 721 receiving yards and five touchdowns, as he was able to get it done on both sides of the ball.

Chances are that Hunter will have to play one of his positions in the league. But if he can somehow pay both corner and wide out, his value could skyrocket.
