On Monday, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever travel to Georgia to take on Tina Charles and the Atlanta Dream for the third time this season. The Fever handled business in the first two games, winning 91-84 and 91-79.

With Clark coming to town, the game will be taking place at State Farm Arena, normally the home of the Atlanta Hawks. Over the weekend, the Dream revealed that the stadium would be sold out, hosting an audience of 16,888.

During a pregame interview, Charles was asked about the large crowd she would be playing in front of and credited Clark for her impact on the WNBA.

"It's great that there is a fitting arena in Atlanta just to accommodate," Charles said. "Obviously, we know who Caitlin Clark is and her impact in this league, especially this year, so however we can get it, I'll take it for me personally. Just thankful that I'm able to be a part of it."

Charles is one of the more veteran players in the league, with her first year being way back in 2010. This new wave of popularity for the WNBA is something Charles has never seen before, but she has a full understanding of why it is happening.

The former UConn Huskies star was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 WNBA draft by the Connecticut Sun. During her long professional basketball career, Charles has won an MVP award and is an eight-time All-Star. The only accolade she does not have on her resume is a WNBA championship, but Charles did win two national titles with the Huskies.

Both the Fever and the Dream are fighting for a playoff spot. Atlanta is only a half-game back from the Chicago Sky for the eighth seed. A win against the Fever would give the Dream the same 11-18 record that the Sky own.
