Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are looking to win their third game following the Olympic break as they face off against the Atlanta Dream on Monday night. Indiana is coming off their first post-Olympics loss against the Minnesota Lynx over the weekend.

Clark has become one of the better WNBA players on offense with her incredible playmaking and shooting skills. But against the Dream, she showed off her abilities on the defensive side of the ball.

With just under six minutes remaining in the first quarter, Atlanta guard Allisha Gray drove to the hoop with Clark draped all over her. As Gray went up for a shot, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star took the ball right out of her hands, forcing a turnover.

The play showed up as a block on the box score, but it could have easily counted as a steal. Unfortunately, Clark stepped out of bounds right after she gained possession, giving it right back to Atlanta.

Despite the turnover by Clark, WNBA fans were still amazed by the defensive highlight and took to social media to leave their opinions.

"Caitlin Clark absolutely SMOTHERS Allisha Gray"

    "Caitlin Clark says NO"

"Caitlin Clark just snatched this ball from Allisha Gray"

    "Great, that block was insane"

"Absolutely stripped. She looks like a safety out there!"

"Two hand blocks are the best"

Even though Clark is well-known for her offensive skillset, she has shown some flashes on defense prior to the Fever vs. Dream matchup. In fact, Clark is averaging 0.8 blocks per game, the most by any WNBA guard this season. She is also averaging 1.4 steals per game, which ranks seventeenth in the league.
