Puka Nacua is back on the practice field for the Los Angeles Rams after recovering from a knee injury sustained during a joint practice with the Chargers in early August. The injury occurred while he was attempting to make a catch in a red zone drill.

Initially, Nacua was considered week-to-week, raising concerns about his availability for the upcoming season. However, the team's head coach indicated that the injury was not serious and that Nacua would be ready for the season opener against the Detroit Lions.

Last season, Nacua made a significant impact, stepping up as a key receiver after Cooper Kupp was sidelined with his own injury. The fifth-round draft pick surprised many with his performance, recording 105 catches for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns, setting rookie records in the process. His contributions were vital in helping the Rams reach the playoffs, even though they were eliminated in a close wild-card game against the Lions.

Looking ahead, Nacua is projected to have another strong season, with expectations of 89 receptions, 1,238 yards, and six touchdowns. Notably, he was the only player in the NFL last year to achieve over 300 receiving yards on both vertical and crossing routes.

Fans are eager to see Nacua and Kupp play together this season, as both are capable of setting records. Nacua has been actively seeking Kupp's guidance, which bodes well for their chemistry on the field. The duo is expected to be one of the most formidable receiving pairs in the league this year.
