Mike Sando of The Athletic has released his annual " quarterback tiers ," and while Philadelphia Eagles signal-caller Jalen Hurts didn’t fall too much from last year, some people are exposing his supposed weakness.

The Athletic’s Mike Sando talks to coaches and executives around the league to put this list together, and it’s a doozy.

"The word is out there, if you run zero blitz against Hurts, or show zero and back everyone out, he will panic," one coach said . "That has to change. They lose Jason Kelce, who handled the protections, basically did everything, and you bring in a coordinator who likes to drop back. It will be interesting."

That is something we’ve heard before. After last year’s blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers, defensive end Nick Bosa said something pretty similar.

"You see it on tape," Bosa said . "Obviously, we put the blueprint out there. Hopefully, the Dallas Cowboys watch the tape. We made Jalen stay in the pocket instead of escaping out of those B-gaps, and it paid off."

The Eagles have an entirely new offensive system in place that will be a lot more balanced with the running game and the newly acquired Saquon Barkley. The former Nittany Lion is going to get plenty of opportunities behind one of the league’s biggest offensive lines.

That running game would figure to slow any pass rush in the league, including San Francisco’s.

The Eagles will unveil that new offense in a Friday showdown with the Green Bay Packers in Sao Paulo on Sept. 6.
