Simone Biles Turns Heads With Cryptic Social Media Post

Seven-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles has been quite active on social media over the last couple of weeks.

Enjoying her post-Olympic down time, Biles has taken in a Chicago Bears preseason game, filmed an “Emily in Paris” style video teaser for her second part of her Netflix docuseries “Simone Biles Rising,” she’s celebrated her father’s birthday and even enjoyed a few nights out on the town.

But Biles’ last two posts on Threads have caused quite a stir among her followers.

The 27-year-old posted “sad girl hours” late Sunday night and she followed it up Monday evening with another equally ominous post.

“I don’t know why some of y’all be surprised when karma finally hits,” Biles posted, prompting the comments section to buzz with intrusive curiosity.

Responses covered the gamut of possibilities of what Biles could have been referring to, ranging from Taylor Swift-related guesses to speculation of her throwing shade at another NFL player's wife.

“Simone girl… we nosey can’t just leave hints like that spill it,” one user commented .

“Is this an Easter egg? @taylorswift” asked another user .

“I have zero clue who or what this is about, but I choose to believe it's about that one QB's wife,” another user posted .

“You talking [about] your mom or dem half-sisters or what?” a third user asked .

While Biles thread could be referring to any number of things, it’s likely most of the 12,500 users who liked the post and 543 who reposted it likely did a Biles-like viral head turn after reading the phrase “karma finally hits.”
