Miami Heat legend, Chris Bosh, recently joined his former teammate Goran Dragic in Slovenia for the "Night of The Dragon," a celebration of the Slovenian's illustrious career.

It was Dragic's farewell game. At the same time, Bosh's return to the court for the first time since 2016 was a moment to remember as well.

Bosh, a two-time NBA champion and a key member of the Heat's "Big Three" alongside Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, was forced to retire at just 31 years of age due to a blood clotting condition.

Bosh was waived by the Heat in 2017. Initially, it looked like he had not given up on a comeback but in early 2019, he ended up announcing his retirement.

In a recent conversation with the media, Bosh shared that he had received offers to play in Europe after his NBA career ended. However, he chose not to pursue them because of the challenges it would have posed for his family.

According to NBC Sports , Bosh said: "I wasn’t in a position where I wanted to up and move my family. I had babies at the time. I took it as a sign and continued to move on. But I had a couple of offers. It wasn’t Greece. Spain, France. In the EuroLeague."

Bosh’s time with the Heat remains one of the most successful periods in the franchise's history. He was instrumental in leading the team to four consecutive NBA Finals and securing two NBA Championships.

Despite his early retirement, Bosh’s legacy is immortalized with his jersey retired by the Heat in 2019.

Of course, it would have been very tough to retire from the game in his prime. It was the right decision though, considering his condition. We can only wish him the very best of luck moving forward.
