Robert Griffin III Makes Big Announcement On Post-ESPN Firing Plans

Former Baylor Bears quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III took to X on Monday night to make a big announcement in the wake of his August 15 firing from ESPN.

The former 2012 number two overall NFL Draft pick by the then-Washington Redskins posed for a picture with his wife Grete Griffin and Colorado football coach Deion Sanders in a picture teasing his next professional endeavor.

Griffin III indicated that he plans to continue his 'Outta Pocket With RGIII' podcast, which last posted a video two months ago.

"First podcast after ESPN layoff tomorrow and you won't want to miss it," Griffin III wrote on X.

He also shared the Twitter handle for his podcast, which had over 6,600 followers as of Monday night.

Previous guests include Christian and Luke McCaffrey's father and former NFL star Ed McCaffrey, Texas football quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate Quinn Ewers, and NFL Network host and former Miami Dolphins cheerleader MJ Acosta-Ruiz.
