The Ensworth School will serve as the temporary home for the team as they work through these essential preseason practices. According to Damichael Cole of The Commercial Appeal , the upgrades at FedExForum involve the arena's rigging grid and sound system, limiting the space available for the team in Memphis during this period.

Despite the renovations at FedExForum, the Grizzlies are still expected to host their annual open practice for fans. At the same time, the exact date is yet to be announced; last year’s open practice was held on October 7, so fans can expect a similar timing this year.
