Former ESPN “College GameDay” co-host David Pollack has been looking for a home to get his college football thoughts to the masses ever since he was dumped by his former network just two months before the start of the 2023 season. The former Georgia Bulldog was considered a warm personality among many fans of the show, raising several questions about why he was fired.

It seems Pollack doesn’t need the backing of a huge television network to get his point across after announcing some major personal news related to his next media venture–his own YouTube channel .

“Just started my own College Football YouTube channel," Pollack posted on X. "Gotta get my CFB thoughts out somewhere or I'll drive my whole dang family crazy."

He dropped his first take on his new platform about the biggest upset of the 2024 season. It just so happened to be the first game when the unranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets took down the No. 10 Florida State Seminoles in Dublin, Ireland 24-21 with a last-second field goal.

“How excited was everybody to have college football back,” Pollack said with his first words on his new YouTube channel. “I was jacked. I couldn’t leave my couch. I felt like a lazy bum. I forget about those Saturdays when you literally sit in front of the TV all day. It was glorious.”

Pollack admitted in February that he believed he was fired due to budget decisions within ESPN. It’s a similar reason we’ve been told about other departures from the network a year after Pollack with Robert Griffin III and Sam Ponder both heading out the door ahead of the football season.

Expect to hear more unfiltered takes from Pollack as he ramps up his new media venture, whether those be about the game of football or the game of life.
