Angel Reese, the standout power forward for the Chicago Sky, has quickly become a significant name in the WNBA. From her intense rivalry with Caitlin Clark on the court to her eye-catching fashion sense off it, she’s making waves in her rookie season after being selected No. 7 overall in April's WNBA draft.

On Tuesday, Reese shared that she’s launching a podcast called "Unapologetically Angel," which will air every Thursday. The first episode will be released on Sept. 5.

The show will be part of Shaquille O'Neal's The Big Podcast Network in collaboration with Playmaker HQ. This partnership aims to create and share engaging content, giving athletes and creators a platform to shine in the podcasting world.

Now, the word is out on who Reese plans to co-host her new show with.

On Aug. 22, Maya Reese announced on Instagram that Playmaker HQ had hired her as a podcast producer and co-host.

Then, on Tuesday, Aug. 27, Maya Reese made another post, announcing her plans to co-host "Unapologetically Angel" alongside Angel Reese.

"secrets out. still freaking out. Angel Reese, you ready?!  🤩🎤💕🤞🏻👑💐🚀," Maya Reese captioned the post."

Maya Reese, who has won an Emmy and eight awards for her work in content creation, will join Angel. Her impressive career includes significant stops at top brands like CBS, NBC Sports, Overtime, and now Playmaker.

With her deep experience in podcast production, Maya Reese is set to bring a new level of energy and expertise to "Unapologetically Angel."

Angel Reese continues to shine in her rookie season, leading the WNBA in a major statistical category. She's been dominant on the boards, bringing down 12.9 rebounds per game. Additionally, she averages 13.5 points and 1.8 assists.

Most would assume that with such an impressive stat line, she will no doubt win the WNBA's Rookie of the Year Award. However, there's another rookie star by the name of Caitlin Clark doing her own thing with the Indiana Fever. Clark is averaging 18.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists.

With the WNBA's regular season coming to a close in about three weeks, the race for the Rookie of the Year award is heating up.
