New York Knicks fans had quite the "lit" time during the 2024-25 season. Finishing second in the Eastern Conference standings, the Knicks ultimately lost a Game 7, which would have sent them to the Eastern Conference Finals. Still buzzing from such a season, Kiyan Anthony, the son of Knicks legend Carmelo, expressed his excitement for the coming season.

Kiyan recently competed in the SLAM Summer Classic Vol. 6, feeling the heart of New York coursing through his veins, understands the red-hot fever among the Knicks fans.

In an interview with Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson, Kiyan expressed his enthusiasm for the Knicks coming season.

“This past season, it was lit. They made a run in the playoffs. Jalen Brunson obviously doing what he is doing. So I'm just looking forward to it," Kiyan stated. "We got Mikal Bridges now, looking forward to seeing what the next season holds and seeing where they get.”

Leon Rose not only managed to trade for Mikal Bridges but also, as the president of the Knicks, built a quality franchise. What grade of quality, you ask?

Brunson took a well over $100 million discount to sign the Knicks.

New York is prime for another high-seed finish but isn't settling for a second consecutive semifinal flameout.

As the son of a legend well-renowned in New York, Kiyan's hype resonates with the fans. For the first time since the Patrick Ewing era, the Knicks are built to contend for an NBA Finals berth.

As the kids say, "It's lit" in New York.
