Did Adam Schefter Drop a Hint at Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift Engagement?

Ever since Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce began dating pop superstar Taylor Swift, many have wondered if the All-Pro was ever going to pop the question.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter may have dropped a clue about it on Tuesday’s episode of “NFL Live.” Host Laura Rutledge was talking about Kelce’s recent purchase of an ownership stake in a racehorse named Swift Delivery.

Rutledge teased a big Kelce announcement, then stated that no, he didn’t buy an engagement ring.

“Laura, how do you know that Travis Kelce didn’t buy an engagement ring?” Schefter asked.

Rutledge responded with, “I don’t know, do you know?” Schefter sat in silence for a few moments with a look that hinted he knew something nobody else did.

“The awkward silence right there speaks volumes,” co-host Booger McFarland said. “Schefty, do you know something?”

“All I did was ask a question about how Laura knew he didn’t buy an engagement ring,” Schefter quipped.

While Schefter could have simply been having some fun at everyone else’s expense, it also would surprise no one if wedding bells were in the power couple’s future.
