Team USA’s Emotional Response To Simone Biles’ Olympic Admission

The 2024 Paris Olympics was a memory that will last a lifetime for USA gymnastics star Simone Biles.

Many fans wondered how the 27-year-old from Spring, Texas would fare following the 2020 Tokyo Games, where Biles had to withdraw due to the twisties, which is when a gymnast loses their sense of balance and direction in midair.

Not only did Biles bounce back, but she had one of the best all-around performances among all athletes in Paris, winning three gold medals and a silver.

On Tuesday, Biles took to social media to not only flex her 11 total Olympic medals but to acknowledge how a younger version of herself would feel about her recent accomplishments.

"6 year old me would be proud," Biles captioned the post with teary-eyed, heart, and fingers crossed emojis.

The post has over 4,500 comments, and that number is growing rapidly. Team USA made a comment to Biles that stood out.

"WE ARE SO PROUD," Team USA replied with the same teary-eyed emoji Biles used.

Biles made a name for herself at the 2016 Rio Games, where she won a personal best five Olympic medals, four of which were gold. Her first-place finishes came in the team, all-around, vault and floor exercise finals. Her single bronze was in the balance beam final.

Before withdrawing in Tokyo, Biles added to her Olympic medal collection with a silver in the team final and a bronze in the balance beam.

In 2024, Biles led USA Gymnastics, including Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey and Suni Lee, to another team final win. She also took home gold in the vault and all-around finals and a silver in the floor exercise.

She flaunted each and every one of these medals in her social media posts, leaving many impressed.
