NBA Star Andre Drummond Calls Out ESPN for Inaccurate Angel Reese Post

Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has been the best rebounder in the WNBA during her rookie season.

The former LSU Tigers star is averaging 12.9 rebounds per game, by far the most of any player in the league.

But Reese has taken her low-post presence up a notch since the WNBA's return from the Olympic break.

Over the last three games, Reese has recorded 20 or more rebounds in each contest. This feat has never been seen before in the WNBA.

SportsCenter, a popular ESPN show, gave Reese a shoutout on social media with a graphic about her most recent accomplishment, pairing her with former Detroit Pistons star and Basketball Hall of Famer Ben Wallace.

"Angel Reese is one of just two players in the WNBA & NBA in the last 50 years to grab 20+ REB three games in a row," SportsCenter wrote on X.

However, another former Pistons center, Andre Drummond, was not happy with SportsCenter's post because of its inaccuracy.

SportsCenter forgot to mention that Drummond accomplished three consecutive 20+ rebound games in 2019, which would make Reese one of just three players to accomplish this feat. The two-time NBA All-Star called out SportsCenter for its mistake.

"you forgetting someone *cough," Drummond wrote with two eyes emojis.

"Make sure you correct that SportsCenter," Drummond added in a separate post.

Like Reese, Drummond was well-known for his interior presence, especially on the glass. The former UConn Huskie led the NBA in rebounds four times, including 2016 and 2018-2020. After eight seasons with the Pistons from 2012-2020, Drummond bounced around the NBA and is currently on the Philadelphia 76ers as Joel Embiid's backup.
