The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have revealed their final 53-man roster, and fans might notice something interesting about the team's wide receiver depth.

The team only has five wide outs on their final roster, which is less than some were expecting. The most notable cut was Sterling Shepard, who the team had just signed back in June.

Chris Godwin and Mike Evans were obvious keeps, but the Buccaneers cutting Shepard may point to the fact that they will put trust in third-round pick Jalen McMillan in his first year in the league.

There have been many reports that he has done great in training camp, and he has looked solid in his limited preseason appearances. The Bucs have one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL, but that WR3 spot could be up for grabs, and McMillan could be poised to take it.

Another possible suitor for the spot is second-year receiver Trey Palmer, who has also done well in the offseason. Whatever the team decides to do, it seems that them inly keeping five receivers shows that they trust the guys they have.
