Georgia and Clemson are set to do battle in a massive Week 1 season-opener this coming weekend. However, for the Tigers to come out victorious, college football insider Heather Dinich believes one player is the key.

She joined ESPN's "Get Up" on Wednesday morning, where Mike Greenberg threw out several prompts for her to answer ahead of a tremendous slate of first matchups. First, he asked what Clemson would need to win the football game.

"They need to get a great game out of their quarterback, Cade Klubnik," Dinich said.

Dinich did not see strong quarterback play from Clemson a year ago and cited specific numbers to illustrate where the Tigers need their key player to improve, starting with the Georgia contest.

"They need to find some explosive plays downfield and not turn the ball over," she added. "This Georgia defense is not one you want to give any freebies, not a short field."

Plus, when it came to the ACC, Klubnik didn't even rate highly among those quarterbacks.

"Cade Klubnik last year, 11th out of 12 qualifying quarterbacks with a 55 total QBR," added Dinich.

Clemson declined to hit the transfer portal for different options at quarterback and have been through three frustrating seasons of QB play since Trevor Lawrence left. Now, Dabo Swinney just has to roll the dice and hope an experienced starter with recruiting pedigree can finally have that breakthrough.
