3 Waiver Pickups That Giants Should Target

The New York Giants have trimmed their game day roster to 53 players. Now, they must decide on which, if any, players they could potentially poach off waivers from other teams.

Luckily for New York, plenty of talented individuals are now looking for new homes.

Three in particular make plenty of sense for the Giants to target and potentially sign for their roster heading into Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings.

    Receiver Terrace Marshall Jr.

Marshall needs a change of scenery more than anything else from Carolina. Could the Giants add more depth to a weak overall group outside of Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton? It's certainly something the group should look to exploit.

    Cornerback Caleb Farley

New York's secondary is projected to be one of the worst in the NFL this season. So is it outlandish to suggest they should target a first-round talent at cornerback? Farley is a former Tennessee Titan who has experience under defensive coordinator Shane Bowen.

    Tight End E.J. Jenkins

Poaching any player of the Philadelphia Eagles should be a good thing for the Giants. Jenkins was excellent in training camp and was a surprise cut for the Eagles on Tuesday. Could he provide a positive addition to their tight end room? It couldn't hurt.
