    Could Browns Sign Legend's Son To Fill RB Void?

    The Cleveland Browns are kind of in a bind when it comes to their running back room. Jerome Ford was the feature back last season following a gruesome leg injury to Nick Chubb.

    Chubb isn’t expected back until at least the fifth game of the season as he starts the year on the PUP list. Both D’Onta Foreman and Pierre Strong were taken off the practice field by ambulance in recent weeks.

    Rookies like the recently released Frank Gore Jr.

    The son of running back legend Frank Gore, the former Golden Eagle went undrafted and signed with the Buffalo Bills shortly after the draft as a priority free agent.

    Gore was explosive in his time on the field, carrying the ball 33 times for 163 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 4.9 yards per carry in the preseason, but the Bills moved in a different direction.

    While at Southern Mississippi, Gore led the team in rushing all four years and earned All-Conference honors in his final three.

    This would be an interesting pickup for the Browns because if he can perform in the regular season the way he did in preseason, the Browns will have hit the jackpot.

    As this week continues, we are likely going to see multiple other moves before final rosters are set and teams begin to focus on their regular season openers.
